Worship must be from the heart! Not from the mechanical amplifier. Noise is fine if it come from the heart. "Make a joyful noise." But the amp got too loud for me in the louder church; now I worship in a subdued very small church where by hymns, by responsively read prayers and confessions, by communiion, by reading and preaching of the Word, every aspect of the service focuses the heart on the Lord and His proper role in our lives.
